ICA Group– the co-organiser of leading exhibitions in Azerbaijan — will be represented at the World Urban Forum (WUF13) with a joint corporate stand. Sustainable development, support for green technologies, and the promotion of modern approaches to urban development form an important part of ICA Group’s activity.
As part of WUF13, the company will present the Group’s key international construction and infrastructure exhibition projects implemented across Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye. The events organised by the Group serve as professional business platforms showcasing modern construction technologies, innovative engineering solutions, approaches to sustainable urban development, and current infrastructure projects. These events bring together government institutions, industry experts, investors, and private sector representatives to exchange expertise, explore new solutions, and foster professional cooperation.
Particular emphasis during the participation will be placed on Rebuild Karabakh — the Azerbaijan International Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh Exhibition, which will take place for the sixth time from 14 to 16 October at the Baku Expo Center.
The Rebuild Karabakh exhibition reflects one of the most relevant global themes — the sustainable restoration of territories, the development of modern infrastructure, the creation of safe and comfortable urban environments, and the establishment of communities of the future. In the context of the WUF13 agenda, Rebuild Karabakh serves as a vivid example of international cooperation in the field of post-conflict reconstruction and sustainable development.
For decades, international exhibitions have played an important role in the development and transformation of cities, often becoming catalysts for infrastructure changes and long-term urban growth. History offers many examples of exhibition events leaving behind iconic landmarks and new urban infrastructure — from Eiffel Tower, created for the 1889 World's Fair, to exhibition centres, congress venues, transport infrastructure, and new business districts that continue to serve cities for decades afterwards. Modern industry exhibitions also contribute to attracting investment, strengthening the business environment, encouraging professional exchange, and promoting innovations that influence the development of the cities of the future.
ICA Group’s participation in WUF13 alongside local partners Iteca Caspian and Caspian Event Organisers will mark an important step in expanding international partnerships and showcasing to a global audience projects that contribute to the development of modern cities and sustainable urban environments.
The World Urban Forum (WUF), organised by UN-Habitat, is recognised as one of the world’s most authoritative international platforms dedicated to discussing sustainable urban development, urbanisation, infrastructure, innovative city solutions, and the shaping of cities of the future. We invite you to visit ICA Group’s Stand D08 during WUF13 from 17 to 22 May and discover the Group’s international projects focused on the development of construction, infrastructure, sustainable cities, and future urban communities.
