On 21 October, the Caspian Construction Week, the largest event in the region's construction industry, came to an end at Baku Expo Center.

The 3rd Azerbaijan International “Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh” Exhibition (Rebuild Karabakh), which was held within the framework of this massive event, caused huge interest among numerous visitors and guests. This undertaking aims to draw attention to positive changes taking place in Karabakh, as well as to involve companies and other entities in its restoration by having them participate in a variety of investment projects; it works to have foreign corporations develop the region, restore infrastructure, and build civilian facilities.

The exhibition falls on a remarkable date; this year we mark the centenary of National Leader, founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, and prominent politician and statesman Heydar Aliyev. The jubilee is reflected in the programme; notably, Baku Expo Center has put up a stand to reflect the Great Leader's activities as related to Karabakh.

Addressing the participants, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev pointed out the sheer importance of construction-oriented exhibition projects, which become ever more relevant against the backdrop of large-scale reconstruction, restoration, and development activities underway across Karabakh.

The head of the state invited the exhibition participants to take advantage of the opportunities created by Azerbaijan for the innovative development of the liberated territories and unite their business ideas around a common goal. Ilham Aliyev said is positive Rebuild Karabakh Exhibition will provide a favorable platform for the successful implementation of beneficial initiatives in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur and help establish new business connections.

Compared to the previous years, the exposition has grown up considerably: from two halls in 2022 to three this year. During the Caspian Construction Week, individual stands were put up in the open space of the Center as well. The sheer scale of the event stems from the international interest in Azerbaijani exhibitions, projects, and business outlooks, as well as in investment ventures in the country. The Week brought together nearly 400 companies from around the globe and attracted thousands of visitors from Azerbaijan and other countries; it also helped create numerous business links and thereby reinforce and expand international business relations.

Rebuild Karabakh covered such fields as ecology, energy, IT, construction, building materials, agriculture, mining, transport, security, road construction and infrastructure, and many more.

Put up in Baku Expo Center was an information stand dedicated to Shusha and reflecting the history and cultural values of this beautiful city. The exhibition featured the section titled "Karabakh, a Land of Carpet-Weaving" with Karabakh-made carpets with national ornaments on display. Held as part of the main event was also the exhibition "Karabakh Drawn by Special Ones" with the participation of disabled children.

Rebuild Karabakh ran in parallel with the 28th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition (BakuBuild), the 15th Jubilee International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary and Swimming Pool (Aquatherm Baku), and the 11th Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport Exhibition (Road&Traffic).

The event is backed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Housing Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK), the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, the Azerbaijan Exhibition Organisers Association (ASTA), and special representatives of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh Economic Region.
