I am a citizen of Turkey, and as Okuklu Holding, we operate in Azerbaijan. Our mission is to strengthen trade relations among Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan — helping companies from Turkic states establish themselves in Azerbaijan and market their products efficiently in this region.
Today, I am here at the exhibition to support our Uzbek partners. The fair showcases high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative materials that can be used in the reconstruction of Karabakh. For example, new-generation composite materials that can replace traditional reinforcement steel — equally strong yet much lighter — are being presented, along with basalt wool (stone wool) used for insulation purposes.
The Customs Union Agreement among Turkic countries allows trade to grow faster and more dynamically. I would like to see even greater focus on products from the Turkic world, because we have one big family — the Turkic nations.
I firmly believe that materials supplied from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey will ensure higher quality and better pricing in Karabakh’s reconstruction projects. This cooperation reflects the revival and strengthening of relations among Turkic states.
The idea that “Azerbaijan will become the trade hub of Central Asia” is no longer just a vision — it is becoming a reality.
