Mr James Lyall Sharp, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan

The main thing is that we have returned to Baku Expo Center. For a year and a half, everyone has been waiting for the traditional exhibition with its fantastic impressions! Today we meet here many companies representing the most diverse and very interesting solutions. It is especially pleasant to see the extensive exposition of the Rebuild Karabakh exhibition, dedicated to the restoration of the liberated territory of Azerbaijan. Companies - both local and foreign - are interested in participating in new projects. The interest of visitors is also high, which cannot be overestimated.

Note that British companies are taking part in the BakuBuild and Rebuild Karabakh exhibitions. Among them is a company that helps the Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Mine Action (ANAMA) liberated from the occupation of territories. For this, drones are involved. The second company present is Aggreko, a power supplier.

Of course, British business is interested in investing in Azerbaijani projects to restore the liberated territories of the country. We see projects in the field of "green" technologies at the exhibition and are very pleased that renewable energy sources will be created in Karabakh. I am proud to note that British BP has been involved in the implementation of a solar energy project in the Zangilan and Jabrail regions of Azerbaijan.
